Everyday care
Vacuum regularly on the lowest setting using a rug attachment. Robot vacuum cleaners are suitable. Wipe in the direction of the weave and avoid brushing.
Natural characteristics
Initial shedding is normal and may continue for several months, gradually diminishing with regular, gentle vacuuming. Shedding and occasional protruding pile threads are characteristic of handwork and do not indicate manufacturing defects. Trim protruding threads carefully with scissors.
Placement
Avoid direct or intense sunlight to limit fading. Rotate the rug and adjust furniture placement every six months to encourage even wear and minimize indentations.
Spills and cleaning
Blot spills immediately with an absorbent cloth; do not rub. Where needed, use lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not use acidic cleaners or bleach. Professional rug cleaning is recommended. Incorrect cleaning may cause damage or discoloration.
Washing and drying
Wash at 30°C and dry flat. Allow the rug to dry completely before walking on it.
